Paper Parasol

Paper Parasol strives to bring you quality handmade greeting cards. We are based out of Chicago, Illinois and San Mateo, California.

At Paper Parasol, we use paper and envelops that are 30-100% post consumer recycled and that use renewable energy sources – such as electricity generated by windmills. What we look for in our paper: Chlorine free, alternative energy sources, wind powered, hydro-power, and 30-100%PCW.

We are also big advocates of reusing our packaging materials as much as possible and like to salvage our paper scraps and make pretty collages with birds and trees.

Here at Paper Parasol, we feel old fashioned acts of writing make for the best correspondence. Now go write your little heart out!

Dear Sukie

Hello! My name is Kristy Clarke and I am the owner, designer and operator of Dear Sukie Wallets! I began Dear Sukie in 2007 out of a love for beautifully patterned papers and cute accessories. Each one of my wallets is handmade by me in my home studio in small quantities which make Dear Sukie wallets extremely unique and almost one of a kind! In 2010, I was asked to appear on the Martha Stewart Show to teach the audience how to make one of my wallets! This was an amazing experience and generated a lot of interest in my wallets!

I am also the author of two children’s books, Miss. Abigail and the Missing Cupcake (2014) and Woodland Rhymes For Little Ones (2015).

Miss Ella

As a child I have always created new worlds via doodling, story telling and making creatures and clothing. I initially studied Theatrical Costume Making and Design and worked as a costume maker before doing my Degree and Masters in Graphic Design and Animation. It was always a very windy path before I realised I could set up my shop on Etsy and combine all of these things in an environment perfect for what I do.

Everything starts with the illustration which has grown to adorn fabrics for homewares and accessories, jewellery and stationery making a cohesive range which has also become very collectable amongst my customers.

Roosfoos

I work alongside Crosby & Taylor and Oregon Stoneware Studios in a funky shop in the Whiteaker neighborhood of Eugene, Oregon. It’s an amazingly eclectic place to be. From concept to finished product, everything is done in-house. Original models are made and molded, pewter ingots are melted and cast, then the piece is sanded, polished and shaped – finally ready to be boxed and shipped to you. With an emphasis on craftsmanship and value, I hope to make something for you that’s a little more than ordinary.
